Day 5 - Saint John, New Brunswick to Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
We slept with the window open. Temperatures in the upper 50s and rain. It was a tiny bit of heaven. Then eggs for breakfast - compliments of the chickens!
It's Canada Day! The 150 mark. It's a rainy day for celebration!
After 1820 miles, we have arrived!
Day 4 - June 30 - Hartford, CT to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada
The sun rose at 5.19 AM so we were up by 5.40! We are definitely getting an early start! We blew through CT, MA, NH, and ME. The temperature has dropped to 69 degrees at noon. We are loving it!
Our Airbnb is fabulous! We are on a 120 year old farm that has been renovated. We have a dog, a cat, goats, and chickens! Our hostess is great too!

Day 3 - June 29 - Harrisburg, PA (state capital) to Hartford, CT (state capital)
We started our day at Hershey Park. We took the free tour - which is a ride with animation (similar to Monster Plantation ride at Six Flags). It explained the chocolate making process. We got a miniature chocolate bar at the end. We enjoyed it!
At a rest stop in NY |
We visited Elizabeth Park in CT. There is a rose garden full of blooming roses on arches, in rows, and just scattered about. Other flowers were blooming as well. Alan likes the purple ones. |
This was our 2nd Airbnb location. |
We were very close to the Mark Twain house. It was closed when we drove by, but it looks amazing from the outside. |
Alan went for a walk in Harrisburg, PA and saw wildlife. Looks like a groundhog. |
