Alan and I went to Cleveland for a weekend getaway. It was a gorgeous weekend. We left Marietta as soon as I got home from work. We missed the Friday afternoon rush hour traffic and that started the weekend off nicely! We went straight to the Western Sizzler to eat because, of course, I was hungry. Then we went to the cabin. I stayed in and Alan went to the indoor pool.
On Saturday, we leisurely drank coffee and prepared for the day's adventures. We started with Burger King for lunch and then went to Yonah Mountain Winery. It was beautiful.
We had come to Crush Fest in this same location a few years ago but it looks very different now. They had tiny cupcakes as you walked in, live music, appetizers for purchase, wine tasting, and gorgeous views.
After relaxing at this winery, we drove to Cottage Winery. It was busy too.
Our evening activities included dinner from Ingles and a bingo/kareoke combo at the clubhouse.
We didn't win but it was fun.
On Sunday morning, I went for a walk with Al. This was my view for most of the walk because he walks faster than me:
It was a fun and relaxing weekend.
