Another birthday!

Saturday was Glenn's birthday. My "little" brother is 48! They have recently moved from Virginia back to Georgia. So Glenn and Beth drove north and Austin, Alan, and I drove south.We met at Buckner's Restaurant off of I-75. The tables have Lazy Susans in the center and the buffet is brought to you. We enjoyed ample servings of fried chicken, creamed corn, bbq, peach cobbler, and an assortment of southern veggies. It was a good visit. It's good to have my brother and sister-in-law back in our home state!

January/February 2013

We went to St. George Island, FL for MLK weekend. It was wonderful. The weather was perfect and the beaches were ours.

On Groundhog's Day, we celebrated Alan's birthday. Since his birthday was on a Saturday, we celebrated all weekend. We started by going out on Friday night with Bill and Diane. On Saturday, we met Jimmy, Linda, David, and Penny at the Cheesecake Factory (after we bought spin shoes and cleats for the birthday boy). Linda and Jimmy are going out of town for 2 weeks and we'll miss Jimmy's birthday so we celebrated him too!

That night, we met Austin, Amanda, Connie, Gina, and Steve for another birthday dinner accompanied by another wonderful round of conversation and laughter!

 The birthday weekend will conclude with tennis and the Super Bowl on Sunday.

We just love weekends!
